Higher Education Academy Conference Keynote Speakers

This blog features video of the two keynote speeches at the Higher Education Academy conference in Lincoln, NE, the organization's first gathering.

To view the speeches, just scroll down; you will find the speeches divided into parts of approximately six or seven minutes each for your convenience. Doug Christensen gives the first speech, in which he discusses challenges facing K-16 education in Nebraska, and then Kathy Sproles offers words about the present and precarious state of higher education in the nation.

(Please excuse the quality of the films; among other things, I did not have a tripod, which accounts for the rather jumpy quality of the footage. I vow to do a better job for the next conference in 2009.)

At this site, you will find a slide show of images from the conference.
